Toons: WoW

The idea of making a Paladin had been tried a few times and each time I was unhappy with what I was doing. I was taking the hybrid class to literal. I was trying to balance healing, DPS and tanking with my gear. On the third try I got it right, I focused on tanking and gearing myself towards tanking. I did try a Shockadin for 2 levels but I didn’t have as much fun as being a Tankadin.

When I heard the plea for more tanks in my guild I already had Hyoukami into here 20s. I took time away from my mage to level her to Outland and by then I was truely in love with the Paladin tank. When I stepped foot in Outland I already knew what gear I needed to get uncrushable and uncrittable before going into Karazhan. I was told by a guild tank that it was impossible. So I had to prove it could be done I am a few pieces of gear short but I am already uncrittable and 11% shy of uncrushable.

I figured I’d make a page devoted to information about my toon. I choose the name Hyouzan because I think the Blood Elves look more asian then any other race. Hyouzan comes from the kanji; hyou meaning ice and zan meaning mountain. Which I think is only right for a frost mage, I just hope he lives up to it.

Hyouzan has been frost for most of his existence with the exception of going fire/arcane for a few weeks. I returned to frost with the activation of patch 2.3.0 and I enjoy it alot more now.
