After having a few days off from work my motivation to do anything was lacking. Doing my dailys was interfering with my ability to take a nap. So yesterday, I mustered up the energy to log on and do some dailys before our ZA run. After all raiding is an expensive past time.

So I logged on an not 2 minutes into my WoW day I got asked to tank a HMgt from a guildy. I hadn’t been in the place in maybe a week or more. So I felt like going in a getting a few more badges wasn’t a bad use of my time. I did have to wait for the rest of the group to get formed. It was a really easy group; MS warrior, warlock, rogue, healadin and myself. We one shot all of the bosses with the exception of Kael. It took us three tries but we got him down.

Afterwards, we went to Kara instead of ZA. We didn’t have a good group makeup for a ZA run on the dragonhawk, so we did what we could. We ended our Kara run right after we finished the Oz Opera event. Our whole Kara run went very smooth and we even had some new players joining us.

Not more then 5 minutes after departing Kara, I got a raid invite for Mount Hyjal. I had never been and was very excited to go. I would have to say MtHyjal is a good helping of chaos sprinkled with insanity. I did enjoy being in there and seeing new content. We downed Rage and had just wiped on Anertheron when I had to call it a night. So I am now 1 boss closer to being done with all the TBC content so far.

So I went back into ZA and was able to down one more boss, Halazzi. So now I am 4/6 for ZA progression. When it resets tomorrow we will try for 2 chest timers and I hope we make them. I think this group can really do well.

After ZA we went to TK to go after A’lar.  I was so looking forward to this fight, he drops a cloak I want. I had never tanked the fight for very long into the 2nd phase, but after reading about it it seemed easy enough. Plus, our RL is very good at explaining what needs to be done.

We wiped a few times on Al’ar, I think at one point we were 1% away from having the adds help DPS. Oh well. I have seen more content with this guild then any other guild I have been in. I can’t wait to give Al’ar another try, I really think we can do it.

So this week Tenryuu has been trying to get a group together to make progress into ZA for the 10 of us. Bearpimp and myself are tanks with Ten being a backup tank if one of us can’t make it.

So Monday we did Nalorakk and Akil’zon. Both bosses we very easy although we did have problems with the guantlet on our first try. It was a fun evening, I enjoyed tanking the run and joking around with everyone, fun times..!

Last night we were going to go for Jan’alai and Halazzi. We had done Jan’s gauntlet the night before so we knew how to deal with the scouts and flamecasters. Once we got to the platform we pointed out some key things and off we went. We wiped a few times due to fire bombs and once when I died from Flame Buffets and the Fire Wall. After 3 attempts we got him down, [Shadowtooth Trollskin Cuirass] dropped and our rogue won it. We had to call the raid due to a 25man starting up.

Again, it was a very fun night even with the wipes. I am looking forward to trying Halazzi tonight before we goto Kara. I hope something good drops for someone, I hate seeing gear getting sharded.
