So yesterday after working all night, I got home a took a 3 hour nap. I woke up and had one goal, attune my mage to Heroic MagTer.
It was a cake walk going in on my mage, all be it a different mind set of what to do. Ten tanked it for us and I didn’t worry about taking aggro from him at all. It wasn’t a gear issue it was an issue of I hand’t been in a 5man on my mage in so long. I actually forgot what the Spell Steal button looked like, lol.
After the attunement was done, I logged off to relax before going to out for dinner. About 2 hours later Hiyama and I walked out the door to meet Tenryuu, Chiryuko, Slainte/Bansidhe and Guineoch for dinner at an authentic Italian resturant. The food was whole experience was wonderful, it took a while but I realized the food was Sacilian inspired.
I think the people around us thought we were nuts for talking about WoW, but what do they know, haha. I love ho we can all relate on this level, we all can contribute to the conversation and I think it makes their friendship more meaningful.
So here is to good friends, great food and fun times. Salute.
Well Matt over at World of Matticus, has posted an interesting poll. Which do you use more for casting your spell and abilities the keyboard or the mouse?
Well Matt, my answer is neither. I use a Nostromo N52, it is a gaming pad designed for left hand use. It has 15 buttons, a scroll wheel, a 8 direction thumb pad and 4 keymapping states.
I do use my mouse for certain functions but 90% of what I do for either my mage or my paladin is done with the N52. If you take a look at my UIs you will see a block of 2 rows 5 buttons and 1 row 4 buttons. That is my block of N52 spells and abilities.
This block of keys is on the left side of my UI as the N52 sits to the left of my keyboard. Any action buttons on the right side of my screen are activated with mouse clicks. These are normally spells or abilities with long CDs or buffs.
I do use my mouse for turning my camera(freelook or moving), target selection and using objects. So I’m not completely able to eliminate the mouse from my gameplay, but really who would want to?
Sorry for the lack of posts, but I have been very under the weather lately. I am starting to feel better today, although still very dizzy and lightheaded. So to start back at this I am posting the worst of being a goblin engineer. Well ok, not the worst but bad transporter accidents. I did like being a cow pally in TK last night.
On a very good note, I am now uncrittable and uncrushable with my [Goblin Rocket Launcher] equipped. I am sitting at 512 and 102.97%, I don’t have that buffer zone like I want but I am still not uber geared.
