So After taking my time to figure out exactly what I wanted to do with SpartanUI it hit me. I wasn’t really liking the grayscale textures, no offense but I like a little color in my WoW. So I looked at what made the UI look so great to begin with. Once I knew where to get the images I had a task of finding out how to convert them, but I did.
I used the same color saturation as this site to have continuity between my WoW and my blog. I really like how it came out. I will say that as of last night I have completely recolored all of the textures. I did find it great that I didn’t have to restart WoW everytime I recolored, /reloadui FTW.
I am going to repackage them and send them to Ansu to see if he wants to offer different color variations. After all it was his unaccountable brilliance that made SpartanUI what it is today.
I am even trying to teach myself XML and LUA to make an option window for SpartanUI. Maybe even give it a FuBar plugin since 90% of everything I use can be ran from FuBar.

that looks great! I’m waiting for the next update myself. Still have a problem with my pets health bar reappearing after a death.

Yeah, same with my hunter. I’m not a guru at XML/LUA but I think from looking at what other have done maybe there is a way to have it redraw the frame after a rez. I think it is odd that it only happens on that frame. But who knows.

I like the blue textures! Mind sharing the images? I’d like to try out the blue and see if i can see my recount bars easier on a lighter background.
