From v1 to v2 

The original idea for this blog was to catalog Hyouzan’s progress from level 1 to 70. Well, I did on the first version of this blog but that soon died due to lack of readers. So I merged my original WoW blog with my personal blog. It made life simple one place to go for posting but I hated giving out the URL to my fellow guild members, I didn’t want to air our dirty laundry to them. I am going to have to port over all those posts from my personal blog into this one.

I then took to trying to run a forum for mages regardless of spec. I got this idea after playing a hunter for a while and visiting Kayless’ site wowhunter.com. I liked how I didn’t have to troll the WoW.com forums to find the information that could actually help me play better. It was a good run, with polite members, but I didn’t have the drive to catalog Hyouzan’s progress on it.

Well after reading BigRedKitty for a few months and really liking what he was doing with his blog, I decide to give my WoW blog a second chance and breathe new life into it. This time I’m in it for the long haul, or until I can no longer type.

Even though I do play two characters and my alt will soon become my main. I am still going to blog about my experience playing a frost mage as well as playing my tankadin.

Design

I really liked this theme WoWza from Codamon, but I wanted to put my own stamp on it. I didn’t want the cookie cutter, everyone does this look.

I remember from my military days of having pride in your work. I wanted to have that since of pride when I looked at my site and knew I was the one who put it together and made it unique.

From time to time, you may see this move while you are browsing. Don’t fret, I am just making and adjustment for my readers. I want it to look inviting and still express that it is and will always be a WoW blog.

I am even working on a few versions of my header image to make it just right for my site and theme.

Posting & Comments

I try to post something everyday relating to either or both of my characters. I can’t guarantee that I will have the time to do so because real life > WoW. If I don’t have something for a day or two, just wait there may be something waiting in the wings for final review.

If you see a post you like or even hate, let me know. May be you found an error in my math or theorycrafting, still let me know. Being realistic, I know I have bad grammar and/or spelling, I am trying to get use to the spell checker function of wordpress so please don’t ‘/flame’ me for poor english skills. I really appreciate the contributions of my readers and I try to respond directly to the comment or I may even make a post about it.
